James D. Rogers

James Rogers is a Partner in the firm. James has experience representing employees in a wide variety of areas, including Title VII, § 1981, wage and hour claims, Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and negotiating severance agreements. He also advises employers on workplace issues and compliance matters.

Before joining Siegel & Dolan, James worked for a labor and employment firm in Chicago advising unions and representing union workers in matters before the National Labor Relations Board. During law school, James clerked with a Chicago insurance firm representing policyholders and spent a summer in the athletics compliance office at Northern Illinois University.

James earned his J.D. at DePaul University College of Law and was the Executive Editor of the Sports Law Journal. Originally from Indiana, James graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with an undergraduate degree in English. James was also a member of the varsity tennis team and has coached tennis to youth and adults for more than 20 years. Before attending law school, James worked in a small plaintiff’s firm primarily representing union workers in asbestos litigation.

James lives in the western suburbs with his lovely wife and super fun son.
